CHEASING THE QUESTION MARK ! (FEB-MARCH 2015) The arrival of my son, Sahir, wasn't a gentle sunrise, but a turbulent storm finally breaking into a quiet dawn. The preceding thirty days were a relentless chase, a frantic pursuit of an elusive answer, a question mark hanging heavy in the air. We lived in a state of suspended anxiety, each day a new twist in a complicated narrative. Those thirty days felt like an eternity, each hour stretched and distorted by stress. And then, finally, Sahir arrived. The question mark dissolved, replaced by the exclamation point of his first cry. The tension that had held us captive for a month evaporated, replaced by a wave of overwhelming relief.
